Cedric Gervais
Cedric Gervais, came to South Florida at the young age of 18 with the focus to grow his name in the music industry in the United States. Known for his personal blend of progressive music and tribal house Cedric has built an empire in the Miami scene with accomplishments that extend across the US and Europe. Having secured both local and international acclaim for his talent and diversified music, his colorful list of accolades includes remixes for nationally and internationally renowned celebrities. World famous, Lenny Kravitz, approached Gervais personally while hearing him spin at south beach staple hotspot Crobar. Kravitz, appreciating his talents, decided to work with Gervais, to produce the remixes for two of Kravitz’s chart-stopping hits: “Believe in Me and Stillness of Heart.” These projects have set him apart due to “Stillness of Heart” holding a spot on the Billboard Charts for four weeks solid at number 10. The video can be seen on MTV2, MTV Europe Mun2, and Altv3.

Cedric’s arrival from France in 1998, was a natural “next step.” In his country, he was a resident DJ at the ever-famous club Queen in Paris. Although he had name recognition there, Cedric Gervais knew that his desires were great and unlimited. He wanted to be a top name in the club industry all over the world, and a big player in Miami’s famous venues. He concentrated on this goal, by unleashing his sound and gaining huge popularity. He also created and incorporated Gervais Music Inc with goals of: “Providing Artist and DJ Management, Interaction and liaise with record labels, Club involvement, and production / remixes.” His goals have been brought forward and have built a solid reputation for Gervais Music.

His various accomplishments to date include working alongside such world recognized names as: Robbie Rivera, Timo Maas, Josh Wink, Lee Burridge, Tom Stephan (Super Chumbo), Danny Howells, Angel Morales, Dirty Vegas, Deep Dish, and Steve Lawler. Production accolades include working in unison with meritorious producers such as: Peter Rauhofer, David Waxman and Dirty Vegas.

His company, Gervais Music is responsible for various projects that have gained success in the global dance arena with hits such as “Burning” on YU Records, produced in collaboration with singer/songwriter Tony Choy reaching #3 on Billboard’s Hot Club Play chart as well as #1 on Steve Lawler’s Ministry top 10 chart. Another to date, “Talking about a Revolution,” featuring Shauna Solomon, released by Hydrogen Records UK and Panic Attackers featuring Alan T. “Rock the Beat” released by Star 69 have gained widespread success.

Part of his company venture includes continuing the lineup featuring Cedric as resident DJ of Crobar Miami, Chicago and New York, as well as his residency at Indioloco Nikki beach, Miami. He plans to also continue his traveling show featuring guest DJs that has gained spotlights in the club scene including, Club Stereo, Montreal, and Pacha, Ibiza. This all part of his vision to expose other areas of the world to his truly unique sound capabilities as a DJ/Producer as well as bridging the gap for some of his colleagues.

At this time Cedric’s second focus is on his newest venture: Crobar Records which he created in March 2003 alongside Crobar owners, Kenny Smith, and Callin Frotis. Part of the venture includes the first release being “Something about Your Body,” featuring Shauna Solomon.

His future goals are: “to continue building an awareness of his musical sound, to sign artists, and to turn his small empire to one worth millions by collaborating with world renowned artists.”
